I am a licensed clinical social worker with licensure in Virginia.  I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.  I have trained with several master therapists in my post Master’s training.  I have received intensive training in Bonding Psychotherapy and Structural Deficit Therapy from Konrad Stauss, MD, Marilyn Ellis, LCSW, and Skip Ellis, LCSW; training in Self-Relations Psychotherapy from Steve Gilligan, PhD. and training in Gestalt Psychotherapy with Rudy Bauer, PhD. and Sharon Bauer, MS. I have also been strongly influenced by the Passionate Marriage approach of David Schnarch, Ph.D. and the systems approach of James Maddock, Ph.D. and Noel Larson, Ph.D.
